OnsiteOnline Instructional Delivery Project

The National Center for Manufacturing Education (NCME) in
partnership with the TAC/ABET accredited Quality Engineering
Technology Department at Sinclair Community College has
received a National Science Foundation Advanced Technology
Education (NSF-ATE) grant to develop and test a hybrid instructional
delivery system. The primary objective of the grant is to evaluate the effectiveness of this delivery method in increasing the number of participants in manufacturing related programs.

Consisting of shared online distance learning components and hands-on experiences at individual sites (nodes), OnsiteOnline allows participants in the pilot test to earn a short term technical certificate in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH.
